The first day of the festivities in Bocairent is called “Les Caixes” (The Drums in English). It is due to the fact that when Saint Blai was proclaimed saint patron of the town, the inhabitants celebrated a parade rolling drumms.
Everything is ready for the 2015 festivities, tomorrow it’s “L’Entrà” from 16.30h on!!
